Summer at SMDC is always the best place to be! Our camps and intensives offer everything from fun Princess and Musical Theater Camps to intense full-day training. With expert instructors, engaging performances, and a focus on building technical skills, our programs strike the perfect balance between learning and fun. It’s the ideal way for young dancers to stay active, grow, and make lasting memories. Join us for a summer of rhythm, energy, and passion!
SMDC Intensive

SMDC's Annual Intensive is our premier training program of the year. Over two weeks, intermediate and advanced dancers will refine their skills in ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and more. Guest artists will lead daily master classes, and dancers will experience a convention-style environment right at our studio.

Who is this for?
Intermediate and advance dancers ages 9 and up.

When:
June 16th - June 27th 9:30 - 3:30 pm

Tuition: $800

SMDC Jr. Intensive
​
Not quite ready for the intensive? The Junior Intensive is perfect for emerging intermediate dancers looking to build a strong dance foundation. During this one week training, dancers will refine their skills in ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and more. Mornings will be filled with ballet instruction and afternoons will have guest teachers in a variety of styles.

Emerging Intermediate and Intermediate dancers ages 7 and up.

Moana Camp
Moana is coming out of the LPA vault after 7 years! Little Princess Academy will bring the story of Moana to life through music, dancing and crafts. Princesses will learn choreography and songs and put on a special performance on the final day.

Who is this for?
Frozen Princess Camp is for princesses 4 and up who are ready to participate in and independent camp with a final day performance.

5 day camps:

July 21st - 25th 9:00 - 12:00 pm

Wicked Camps

Join us this summer for two exciting "Wicked"-themed camps!
Wicked Dance Camp: Enjoy 5 days of singing and dancing to your favorite songs, learning choreography, and ending the week with an in-house performance to showcase your skills.
Wicked Musical Theater Camp: Over two weeks, students will be cast in roles, learn lines, and perform an abridged show on the final day.

Queen Esther Camp

Come learn why God created you for "such a time as this". This one of a kind camp combines our unique princess camp feel to the bible story of Queen Esther. Princesses will sing and dance to original music and put on a special performance on the final day.

Queen Esther Camp is for princesses 4 and up who are ready to participate in and independent camp with a final day performance.
